Description

Soup Raiders: Jailbreak is a standalone Game Boy homebrew rom, set in the Soup Raiders universe. You control Black Whiskers, who was captured with his friend, White Fur, and who was locked up in the deepest Mr. Whale's cell. Escape by finding the keys, while White Fur is patiently standing still. Come on, she won't wait all day!

History

After two GBJam doing desktop games, Elias Farhan and Alexis Simonetta took on the challenge to make an actual game boy rom. While Elias was struggling with the good old C code, Alexis Simonetta managed to draw, pixel by pixel, some outstanding pixel art and compose the music. The game came out October 10, 2016 and managed to win the Gameboy feel category of the GBJam 5. After one year, the dream team came back together to extend the content and finish a definitive edition and create some useful tools for Game Boy Development.
